The installation named “Pervious City” works with the theme of the cacophony of high-rise housing. The project consists of a structure with glass tubes reminiscent of urban agglomerations and incorporates multi-channel sound. The installation does not work with the theme of sport directly as with sport itself, but rather deals with the end users of sporting events. It is based on a real cacophonic effect in housing estates in the summer months, when resi- dents’ chanting and the audio background of sports calving sessions are emitted from individual apartments. These moments create an unstable soundscape mixed with the common sounds typical of these places. blockhouses generally have the property of a large sharing of sound noise between apartments through riser shafts that connect them. These verticals themselves create sound links with the neighbors. The morphology, content of these shafts and the permeability of sounds were also reflected in the morphology of the resulting installation.
